Breeder Marjo describes Ada:
Ada is perhaps the most intelligent dog I've ever owned (with exception of Minttu the Afghan). She reads me like an open book. Perhaps she understands human body language. When I'm doing something, Ada carefully observes me and acts accordingly. Ada can not be fooled. She learns from incident. For example she's difficult to get inside. Once I took her lead and went to the gate (Ada loves walks) and brought her inside instead. I haven't been able to do it again. Only several times where I actually do take her out of gate, does she allow herself to be caught when I have the lead. The most delicious treats are ineffective if she disafrees.

Ada quickly learned all the basic commands like "sit", "stay", "lets go", but with "come" she turns a deaf a deaf ear. So she can be very stubborn when she feels like it.
Otherwise it's easy to make contact with her, a look is enough to tell her what is expected of her . At night she sleeps next to me and she is sleepy in the mornings and wide awake in the evenings, as Salukis tend to be. Lure-coursing is probably her favourite thing, as is rough-housing with other Salukis. Tazillah Seela is her best friend, they mess about together.
